BUSINESS ENGINEERING / CONNECTED EXECUTION
THE RELATIONSHIP

From the model
to the working environment.

A business model needs a practical form: ownership, workflows, project structures, knowledge and decisions. Weont defines and implements that form. Collty brings supported processes, projects, teams and AI capabilities into a shared working environment.

Connected to
the way work happens.

Platform capabilities are configured around the engagement’s operating model.

01

Business context

Connect strategic intent, processes, roles and responsibilities to the work being organised.

IN PRACTICE

An operating environment needs to preserve the reason a piece of work exists. Weont defines how a strategic objective relates to a business capability, process, responsible role and the projects or tasks that move it forward. We then map the relevant parts of this context into Collty. This gives the team a reference for prioritisation and for understanding the implications of a change.

AN ILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO

For a market-entry programme, the context can connect the target segment and offer hypothesis with research activities, commercial workstreams and the people responsible for each decision.

02

Processes & projects

Structure business processes and project delivery, with scope, tasks, dependencies and ownership.

IN PRACTICE

Recurring processes and temporary projects need different forms of organisation, but they frequently depend on one another. We define the inputs, outcomes, stages, dependencies and acceptance conditions, then configure the relevant structures in Collty. The design also makes handoffs and exceptions explicit, so that a delayed decision or missing input can be addressed by the appropriate owner.

AN ILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO

A new customer engagement can move from qualification and agreed scope into an organised delivery project. The commercial commitment and the work needed to fulfil it remain connected.

03

People & AI agents

Coordinate human teams and configured AI agents, with explicit permissions and review requirements.

IN PRACTICE

A hybrid operating model needs clear boundaries. We define which activities belong to people, where an AI agent can assist or execute, what information it can access and which actions need review. Collty’s configured agents and human teams can then work within that agreed scope. Responsibilities, permissions and escalation rules are part of the design, rather than an assumption that automation will organise itself.

AN ILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO

An agent may prepare a research synthesis or a draft response from authorised information, while the responsible person evaluates the evidence and approves a consequential business action.

04

Knowledge & intelligence

Use relevant project and business context to inform work while respecting access and evidence boundaries.

IN PRACTICE

Useful intelligence depends on the relevance, quality and availability of context. We identify the knowledge required by a process, its sources, its owner and how it should be kept current. Collty’s intelligence architecture connects work context, retrieval, evidence and controlled agent execution. The exact information available to a person or agent remains subject to the platform’s access controls and the engagement’s configuration.

AN ILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO

A project team can work with the brief, decisions and relevant project knowledge. An agent’s output can be reviewed against those sources instead of being treated as an unsupported conclusion.

05

Connected tools

Integrate supported external applications and MCP services into the designed workflow.

IN PRACTICE

A designed business function often spans several applications. We identify the systems that should remain authoritative, the information exchanged between them and the actions an integration is allowed to perform. Collty supports connected applications and custom MCP services; compatibility and permissions are checked for the actual workflow. Integration scope includes failure handling, human review and clear ownership of the connection.

AN ILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO

An inquiry from the Weont website can be made available through an authenticated MCP service. An authorised Collty workflow can read it, classify the request and prepare the next step within its approved scope.

06

Operational feedback

Review execution, identify friction and use the resulting evidence to improve the business system.

IN PRACTICE

The operating model should be reviewed against what actually happens. We agree the signals that matter for the function: progress, cycle time, exceptions, workload, quality or economic outcomes where the data is available. Weont uses those observations to investigate constraints and prioritise changes. The purpose is a feedback cycle that leads to decisions and improvements, with responsibility for acting on them.

AN ILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO

If handoffs between qualification and delivery repeatedly stall, the review can examine missing information, approval ownership and capacity assumptions before changing the workflow.

ONTOLOGY IN PRACTICE

A model people
and systems can use.

Weont’s ontology work defines the business concepts, relationships and rules. Implementation maps that model to Collty’s supported objects, work graph, processes and integrations.

The scope is explicit: the platform’s existing capabilities, the configuration required and any additional integration work are evaluated as part of the engagement.
