WeontLet’s talk

The blueprint is
only the beginning.

Design and implement a business function with its people, processes, technology and measures of performance connected.

THE BUSINESS QUESTION

How do we make this part of the business work reliably, from beginning to end?

We work through the full operating chain: inputs, decisions, execution, exceptions and feedback. The scope may be a commercial function, partner development, project delivery or another defined business system.

What we work on.

The precise scope is shaped around your context, priorities and operating constraints.

01

End-to-end process design

Specify how work flows, where decisions are made and how exceptions are handled.

IN PRACTICE

We examine the complete path from a request or trigger to an accepted result. The design specifies required inputs, activities, decisions, handoffs and exception paths. We agree the roles responsible and the information needed at each point, making the connection to capacity and economics where relevant.

AN ILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO

In project delivery, a change request needs a route from initial assessment through scope and cost implications to an authorised decision and updated work plan.

02

People & AI roles

Define who does what, what agents may execute, and where human review is required.

IN PRACTICE

We define the work each role is responsible for, the authority it has and the evidence needed to act. AI participation is designed around a bounded task, access to appropriate context and explicit review or escalation. The objective is a workable division of responsibility, with human ownership of the business function.

AN ILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO

An agent can prepare a first assessment of an inquiry while a person decides whether the request fits the company’s offer and should proceed.

03

System implementation

Configure the working environment, integrate relevant tools and introduce operational controls.

IN PRACTICE

We configure the processes, project structures, knowledge and tool connections required by the agreed design. Implementation includes data mapping, permissions, control points and operational checks. Where Collty is used, we build around supported capabilities and identify any additional development as a separate scope.

AN ILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO

A partnership-development system can connect partner criteria, research, outreach preparation, qualification, agreement and the handoff into joint work.

04

Launch & adoption

Test the system with the team, refine the workflow and establish ownership for daily use.

IN PRACTICE

We test the model with the people who will operate it. This includes representative work, exceptions, responsibility handoffs and the information needed to make decisions. The launch defines ownership, guidance and a way to capture issues. Adoption work is connected to actual usage rather than treated as a single handover event.

AN ILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO

A bounded pilot can reveal whether users have sufficient context and authority at each stage before the process is expanded.

WHAT YOU TAKE FORWARD

A working business capability with defined responsibilities and an agreed operating scope.

  • An implemented workflow and operating environment
  • Role, authority and escalation rules
  • A tested launch and adoption plan
  • Measures and feedback for ongoing improvement

From the first conversation
to a useful outcome.

The working process is agreed around the engagement, with clear decisions at each stage.

ILLUSTRATIVE ENGAGEMENT

From a client promise to controlled delivery

A project-based company needs a stronger connection between what is sold and what its team delivers. We design the chain from qualification and proposal through capacity checks, scope agreement, project execution and acceptance. We define the human and AI roles, configure the working environment and test the process with real operating scenarios. The handover includes ownership and a feedback cycle.

A TYPICAL SCENARIO, NOT A CLIENT CASE STUDY.

Before we begin.

Can this be a standalone engagement?+

Yes. Business Systems Engineering can address a defined business need independently. If the work identifies a need for further research, architecture or implementation, that becomes a separate scope to agree, rather than an automatic extension of the engagement.

What do you need from our company?+

We begin with the business question and access to the people who understand it. Depending on the scope, the work may require existing research, business and process documentation, operational information or conversations with relevant stakeholders. Access and responsibilities are agreed before the work starts.

How are progress and results evaluated?+

We define the outputs, review points and acceptance criteria for the engagement. For an implemented system, we also agree the operational signals used to evaluate its performance. The measures should match the work in scope and the decisions each party can control.

Do we have to use Collty?+

Research, ontology and architecture can be delivered without adopting a new platform. For implementation work, we evaluate Collty alongside your existing environment and determine the appropriate configuration and integrations. Platform use and business engineering have distinct scopes.
